Zeev Hatorah
“Zeev Hatorah is a structured American-style yeshiva in Yerushalayim for English-speaking bochurim after high school. The yeshiva has a strong focus on learning, with three Sedarim and minyanim expected every day, together with a strong emphasis on growth in middos and personal responsibility. The atmosphere is warm and close, but it is also quite structured, with clear rules around learning, dress, Shabbos, phones and general conduct. The yeshiva is headed by Rav Shmuel Brazil, with Rav Leiby Ritholtz as Mashgiach and a number of other Rabbeim. The talmidim mainly come from American yeshivos and include bochurim spending their first year in Israel as well as some coming for a second or third year. It is a good fit for a boy who wants a serious yeshiva schedule and strong structure, while still having a personal relationship with the Rabbeim and a close yeshiva atmosphere.”
