Yeshivas Rabbi Akiva
“Yeshivas Rabbi Akiva is an English-speaking Torah institution in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem, geared towards adult men, generally 40+, including professionals and men from a wide range of religious backgrounds. The students include FFB men as well as those with little or no previous Torah background. Many have already established careers and families and are looking to build or deepen their Torah learning. The atmosphere is that of a warm, welcoming Beis Medrash, with a mix of mature students from different backgrounds. The yeshiva has a full-day learning program, with separate tracks for beginners and more advanced learners. The program includes Gemara, Chumash, Mishnayot, Neviim, Hashkafa and Mussar, alongside a daily Daf Yomi shiur and regular guest speakers. It is primarily a place for mature, motivated adult men who want to make Torah learning a serious part of their lives, rather than a conventional post-high-school or gap-year yeshiva.”
