About

Yeshivas Uvacharta Bachayim is an English-speaking yeshiva in Ramat Beit Shemesh Aleph for young men who want to consciously choose life—physically, emotionally, spiritually, and practically—through a fully integrated Torah framework.

Our vision is not merely to educate students, but to cultivate people who live intentionally, connect deeply, contribute meaningfully, and actively choose life each day.

We combine serious Gemara and Halacha learning with daily tefillah workshops, History, Penimius Hatorah / Chassidus Avodah, Machshava, and Career Development courses, with an emphasis on Emunah and Simcha in avodas Hashem.

The Yeshiva also places a strong emphasis on personal development and emotional health, with a focus on emotional clarity, relationships, identity and practical direction alongside Torah learning. The goal is to help students integrate Torah with their daily lives and develop successful well-grounded Baalei Batim who can become leaders within the future communities that they settle in.

The goal is not to divide Torah from life, but to integrate them.

A student leaves with:

- a lifelong structure for growth,

- ongoing connection to Torah and Hashem,

- practical capability to build and contribute,

- emotional and spiritual clarity,

- and a deep sense of purpose.

Roshei Yeshiva: Horav Yehshua Gerzi (www.rabbiGerzi.com) and Rabbi Berel Simpser.
