“### Torah Ore Yeshiva Torah Ore is a serious American-style Orthodox yeshiva in Jerusalem, located in Kiryat Mattersdorf. The yeshiva is mainly for English-speaking boys after high school who are looking for a strong Torah learning environment and a real yeshiva experience in Israel. The yeshiva has a strong focus on Gemara learning, with shiurim, sedarim and chavrusas, while also putting an emphasis on the individual bochur and his personal growth. The atmosphere is serious and Torah-focused, but the yeshiva is also known for having a warm and personal side, with staff who are involved with the boys beyond the classroom. It is generally suited to boys who are able to function in a regular, serious yeshiva setting and want to grow in their learning and Yiddishkeit. It is not specifically a therapeutic or alternative yeshiva, although there is a strong emphasis on personal guidance and staff members with experience helping boys with personal and emotional issues. The yeshiva was founded by Rav Chaim Pinchas Scheinberg and has been based in Kiryat Mattersdorf for many years. The current hanhala includes Rav Simcha Scheinberg and Rav Mordechai Altusky as Roshei Yeshiva, Rav Noach Orlowek as Mashgiach, and Rav Yehoshua Chaitovsky as Menahel.”
