Yeshiva Tiferet (TJ)
“**Yeshiva Tiferet (TJ)** is an American post-high-school yeshiva in Bayit Vegan, Jerusalem, with many boys staying for two or three years. TJ caters to a wide range of boys, both in background and learning level. Some boys come after struggling in previous educational settings or finding that a more standard yeshiva framework was not the right fit for them. The yeshiva puts a strong emphasis on personal growth and takes an individual approach to each bochur. Alongside serious Torah learning, there is a strong focus on developing the boy as a person, including his middos, self-awareness, relationships and ability to build a healthy and responsible life. The approach is structured and professional, with a strong emphasis on the relationship between the bochur and his Rebbe. Learning includes Gemara b'iyun, Gemara b'kiyus, hashkafa and other Torah subjects, with different shiur levels so boys can learn at a level suited to them. The overall approach is to give boys the time, structure and personal guidance to grow over several years, rather than viewing the yeshiva simply as a one-year Israel experience.”
