About
Yeshivas Emek Davar is for motivated students who want to maximize their time in Eretz Yisroel learning, touring, and working on themselves to become better people. We have a typical yeshiva curriculum, with a focus on technical Gemara skills so students can track their progress, as well as halacha kollel-style (from the sugya to rishonim and achronim and out to the field with an expert), Tanach B'Iyun with mephorshim, ask-anything broad and deep hashkafa, mussar, and history from Breishis to the modern day with all the messy, interesting parts in the middle. We visit rarely visited sites all around E"Y (Mt Grizim/Mt Eval, Chevron, Mount of Olives, and many more), as well as Europe. The goal is to build passionate, well-rounded Bnei Torah who are excited about their mesorah.
Learning model
Shiur-based · Beis Medrash-based · Guided learning · We have several learning tracks to accommodate different learning levels.. Each bochur is placed in a track suited to his pace and background, with daily seder and ongoing chavrusa support.
