Yeshivat Sha’arei Mevaseret Zion

“Yeshivat Sha’arei Mevaseret Zion is a post-high-school yeshiva in Mevaseret Zion for English-speaking young men from the US, Canada, UK, South America and Australia. It attracts students from across the Torah spectrum, rather than one particular hashkafic background, and looks for mature boys who are serious about growing in Torah and Yirat Shamayim. Students have different levels of Gemara, with skills, intermediate and advanced tracks, so it is not a yeshiva where everyone is expected to come in at the same learning level. The atmosphere is warm and social, with a strong emphasis on the Rebbe-talmid relationship and a lot of staff involvement. Alongside serious Gemara learning there are afternoon shiurim in different areas of Yahadut, tiyulim, sports, chesed and Shabbat programming. It is also a yeshiva that is comfortable with students going on to university and other forms of higher education, and offers college credit through its university affiliations. There is an official Shana Bet program, with around 70% of students returning for a second year.”
