Lev Hatorah
“Lev HaTorah is an English-speaking Religious Zionist yeshiva in Ramat Beit Shemesh, offering a full-time Torah learning program for post-high school students. The yeshiva is geared towards mature, motivated young men looking for a serious Beit Midrash experience together with a strong connection to Eretz Yisrael, Medinat Yisrael and the wider Jewish community. The learning includes Gemara alongside Tanach, Jewish philosophy, practical Halacha, Religious Zionism and Tefila, with an emphasis on developing independent learning skills. The atmosphere is very community-oriented, with students from different backgrounds and countries living together in the yeshiva's own apartments and having close access to the Rebbeim and madrichim. Lev is also a Hesder yeshiva, giving students the option of continuing into IDF service through the Hesder framework. The yeshiva has a large staff, including Rav Boaz Mori as Rosh HaYeshiva, Rav Michael Cytrin as S'gan Rosh HaYeshiva, a Mashgiach Ruchani, a Director of Guidance and Rebbeim for the different shiurim. There is also a Lev LaChayal program for Anglo religious lone soldiers. It is primarily a one-year Israel yeshiva experience, with a Shiur Bet option for students who want to continue for a second year.”
