Chofetz Chaim
“Yeshivas Chofetz Chaim Yerushalayim is an English-speaking, mainstream Orthodox yeshiva in Sanhedria HaMurchevet, based on the Slabodka approach of combining serious Torah learning with mussar and personal growth. It caters mainly to motivated American, Canadian and Israeli boys, from recent high-school graduates through boys with several years of beis medrash. The atmosphere is structured and serious, with a strong emphasis on iyun, mussar shmuessen, va’adim and developing a Ben-Torah outlook, together with a close rebbe-talmid relationship and a strong sense of achdus. For many students it is a year or several years of learning in Eretz Yisroel before continuing to higher yeshivos, kollelim or other Torah and professional paths. The yeshiva was founded in 1968 by Rav Moshe Chait zt״l and is now led by his son, Rav Dovid Chait. It is part of the Chofetz Chaim/Rabbinical Seminary of America network and has a strong connection to the Chofetz Chaim mesorah of Torah and mussar.”
