Birkat Moshe
“Birkat Moshe is a Religious-Zionist hesder yeshiva in Ma'ale Adumim, founded in 1977 by Rabbi Chaim Sabato and Rabbi Yitzchak Shilat. The yeshiva is known for a serious beit midrash alongside a broad approach to Torah learning, with a particular emphasis on the teachings of the Rambam. Alongside in-depth Gemara, students learn Tanach, halacha, machshava and other areas of Jewish thought. The rabbinic team comes from a range of batei midrash within the Religious-Zionist world, giving the yeshiva a broad and intellectually open character. The yeshiva is suited to Religious-Zionist boys looking for a serious Torah framework together with the hesder path and a broad approach to Torah and Jewish thought. It has a large and established alumni base, with many graduates going on to academic studies and careers alongside continued Torah involvement. The current Roshei Yeshiva are Rabbi Chaim Sabato and Rabbi Yitzchak Shilat.”
