“Yeshivat Birkat Mordechai is a Lithuanian-style yeshiva gedolah in Beitar Illit, headed by Rabbi Yaakov Friedman. The yeshiva is a traditional full-time beit midrash setting, focused on serious Torah learning, fast paced and building the students as בני תורה. It is part of Beitar’s established yeshiva community and caters to boys continuing into yeshiva gedolah after yeshiva ketanah. The atmosphere is that of a standard חרדי yeshiva, with a strong emphasis on learning, Torah growth and the development of a בן תורה.”
